The kids love little Nancy

Two doors down is a little teenager named Nancy.. She came over to watch the kids while Tim and I went out on Saturday night.. They all had so much fun! They think she is a kid and just came over to play!

There is something so cute about Kindergarten handwriting! We are doing our best with Emilie's school work. Jack and Hannah completely drive her nuts when she sits down to write or do any art work. First thing when we get home is to move Emilie's desk upstairs and create some private space for her! She is learining a ton here and completely loving it! Emilie is starting to read too.. She does really well with two, three and some four letter words! How exciting!! Above is Emilie's letter for her class and below is her picture for Nancy.

Nancy reading stories - She said they had her reading "loads" of books!

Waking up Sunday morning.. It is so COLD here! The kids will be happy to pack away the coats they have to wear EVERY single time we go outside! They have been great though - have not complained about being cold once! Well - except when they get out of the bath!
We are taking it easy this week! Emilie had a tummy ache yesterday so we only ventured out once for lunch at a Pub! We are going to France on Thursday ( no turkey this year)! We will be there for several days! I cannot believe our trip is flying by so fast!!

How cute that they found a new friend in Nancy! Maybe they will stay pen pals and Nancy can come visit them some day! :)
